They had nothing in common until love gave them everything to lose . . .
Louisa Clark is an ordinary girl living an exceedingly ordinary life—steady boyfriend, close family—who has barely been farther afield than their tiny village. She takes a badly needed job working for ex–Master of the Universe Will Traynor, who is wheelchair bound after an accident. Will has always lived a huge life—big deals, extreme sports, worldwide travel—and now he’s pretty sure he cannot live the way he is.

Will is acerbic, moody, bossy—but Lou refuses to treat him with kid gloves, and soon his happiness means more to her than she expected. When she learns that Will has shocking plans of his own, she sets out to show him that life is still worth living.
Hello everyone! Today I have my review for Me Before You by Jojo Moyes which has been taking over the internet lately. Ever since the trailer dropped and everyone's hearts was ripped out, the internet has not stopped talking about this book. With that being said, I got caught up in the whirlwind and picked up the book.
I went into this book knowing that this book was going to break my heart into pieces. I watched the trailer and holy smokes that trailer made me feel so many feelings. Let's talk trailer for a minute, when I first watched it, I was overcome with just how heartbreaking this movie was going to be. Then I watched the trailer after I read the book and I was just gone…wasted away because my heart exploded.

“You only get one life. It's actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.”
This book felt like a time tomb that was just constantly ticking with all the suspense and tension that kept building and growing. I felt like this bubble that was slowly growing was going to burst any minute and I turned the pages with this small sense of dread that my heart was going to die.

“I hadn’t realized that music could unlock things in you, could transport you to somewhere even the composer hadn’t predicted. It left an imprint in the air around you, as if you carried its remnants with you when you went.”

I don't know when I stopped reading the characters and when I started loving them like they were precious gems. Louisa is this beautiful sweetheart with her erratic sense of style and her undying dedication to her family. I couldn't shake the feeling that her family was constantly taking advantage of her but hey, if they didn't force her to keep eh job then this splendid book would not exist. Moving on to the amazing Will Traynor…I swear if a guy's name is Will and he's British then he's probably a heart stealer (Will Herondale). He's moody, sarcastic, and melted my heart into a puddle of feels because he's pretty much perfect. He has a ton of crap just thrown at him and he copes with it the best that he can. Louisa brings him a sense of peace and liberation that he hasn't felt in ages and their relationship is enough to bring me to tears.
With all that being said, I cried three times because of this book. The first time was when I actually read the book's ending, then when I reread the ending because the first time I was reading through tears, and then when I was explaining the story to my mom and I got to the ending. Needless to say, that ending scene brought me tears three times and my brain has imprinted those words into my memory forever. I'm so scared to read After You because I don't want to be disappointed, but at the same time I want so badly to see what happens next.
5 out of 5 stars

Foreverly Obsessed,
