Only Yours

Montana Hendrix has found her calling – working with therapy dogs. With a career she loves in a hometown she adores, she’s finally ready to look for her own happily ever after. Could one of her dogs help her find Mr. Right…or maybe Dr. Right?
Surgeon Simon Bradley prefers the sterility of the hospital to the messiness of real life, especially when real life includes an accident-prone mutt and a woman whose kisses make him want what he knows he can’t have. Scarred since childhood, he avoids emotional entanglement by moving from place to place to heal children who need his skillful touch. Can his growing feelings for Montana lead him to find a home in Fool’s Gold, or will he walk away, taking her broken heart with him?
It's such a sweet story. Montana's love for Simon despite his horrible past. What type of mother breaks up with her booze of a boyfriend, then blames it on her son and pushes him into a fireplace?!
Completely horrified that someone could actually do that to their kid!!!
Anyways, its amazing

Navy Brat

Erin MacNamera had one hard and fast rule: never, never, never fall for a navy man. But, from the heart-stopping moment her eyes met Lieutenant Brandon Davis's across a crowded lounge, Erin knew life would never be the same. Sexy, tender and strong, Brandon was all she'd ever dreamed of in a man, but he was also navy -- and as a navy brat from way back, she knew better than to give her heart to a seafaring man. When an old friend asked Brand to look up his eldest daughter, he never dreamed Erin would turn out to be a stubborn beauty who resisted him at every turn. Couldn't she see that they were meant for each other? When Brand was called to duty, it gave him the perfect opportunity to teach his sweet Irish rose a thing or two about navy men -- and love . . .
This is super duper sweet. It shows how sometimes what you really really despise may be the very thing that you find keeps the strongest hold on your heart. My favorite line that I can't forget, forgive me for paraphrasing:
Brand: I thought you wanted roots.
Erin: I did, but they've wound themselves straight to you.
Explanation: Erin claimed that moving around as a navy child was horrible and all she wanted was to settle down and makes some roots. Turns out, navy's in her blood, as it was in her father's, and Brand's. (Another semi-paraphrase from book.)
ANYWAYS, here's my rating. And of course, I would write rating...
